What to expect

The Process

Step 1

Lets Chat

Please take a few moments to fill out the contact form and we will chat about what you are looking for in your newborn session.

I recommend booking your newborn session while you are in your second trimester. Session are then scheduled for when baby is about 7-10 days old. We will work together to plan details like the colour scheme and wardrobe for your session. Don't worry if babe isn't born right on their due date, we can adjust as needed.

The contract and retainer fee will hold your date.

The Process

Step 2

Session Day

It's your session day!

We will start with some snuggly family and sibling photos then we will focus completely on baby. You get to sit back and relax now as we spend the remaining time together capturing beautiful photos of your new baby.

Spend this time catching up on emails and messages or simply watching as we work to create and capture all of your baby's tiny features, smiles, and cuteness!

The Process

Step 3

Soft Proof & Final Images

Approximately 1-2 weeks after your session you will receive your soft proof gallery. This gallery is a collection of images from your session that you are able to pick from in order to build your custom gallery. You are able to sit back and take your time selecting your favourite images from the session.

Once you have picked your favourite pictures from the session I will complete all the final edits and these will be the images you receive in digital format for sharing and printing with your friends and family.

We had our newborn photos with Kristen. I cannot say enough good things about her! She was patient, gentle and worked with our little guy so well.

She's no doubt a pro, our little guy got hungry and she allowed me to feed him with no rush. It meant a lot being a new parent. Such a lovely person and amazing photographer!
