The Process

 

Step 1

Fill out the contact form and we will chat about what you're looking for in your maternity session. Sessions can be indoors or out, with your partner and kiddos or solo. It is completely up to you, but our goal is the same either way, to celebrate YOU! 

 

We will schedule your session for when you're around 32-34 weeks, and plan all the details like location and wardrobe. You will have access to a large selection of gowns to rent and wear to the session if you wish!

 

Once the contract form and retainers fee are received your date will be held for you.

Step 2

Picking a location for your session is really important. These images are going to be displayed throughout your home and you want to love them. 

​

I will help you select a location for your session.  Would you prefer waterfront, an open field, greenery? If nothing comes to mind, I can make suggestions based on your preferences and the age of your little ones. Or do you have a spot that is special to you? I love traveling to these location because your connection to the location shows through in your images and makes them all the more special to you and your family.

Step 3

Have a question prior to your session please feel free to shoot me an email or text and ask away. Not sure what to wear or how to style or hair- I can help! Sometimes another pair of eyes is just what you need to help you make a decision. Can't decide which dress to rent, send me a picture and we can decide  together.

I want you to love your photos, so I'm here to help. There are a lot of decisions to make when planning a session and I want you to know that you are not alone in the process.

Step 4

It's your maternity session day! I hope you are ready to snuggle that growing bump of yours. Now take a deep breath and relax, I will lead you through a number of posed and unposed images allowing you to become comfortable and feel confident in front of the camera. Depending on who is attending the session with you, we will capture a variety of images of you with your family as well as photos of just you and your beautiful bump.
